G.K. Quiz Competition

The Inter-House Quiz Competition was organised for the students of Springfield School on the 20th July, 2018 to test their knowledge in relation to the surroundings and current affairs in the country and the world at large.

At the middle school level, ‘Topaz’ House was declared as the winner, whereas at the Senior level , ‘Emerald’ House was declared as the winner.

Certificates and prizes were given to the deserving teams.

Elocution Competition and Extempore Speech Competition

Springfield School organised an Inter-House Elocution Competition and Extempore Speech Competition on the 25th July for the students of Stds. VI to VIII and Stds. IX to XII respectively.

The students spoke on various topics ranging from environmental issues, women’s rights, to simple topics like corruption, teenagers and the leaders of India. The students were at ease as they spoke confidently and delivered their views and opinions. It was really amazing to see the students throwing every fibre of their being into their speeches by altering their postures, modulating their voices and exhibiting fluency in speech.

In the Elocution Competition, Garnet House was declared the winner in the English category and Emerald House was the winner in the Hindi category. In the Extempore competition, Garnet House bagged the first position in the English and Hindi Categories.
